IAmOK is not an emergency, personal safety, or tracking service. It doesn’t guarantee that a message will be sent, received, or read. In an emergency, contact the appropriate official emergency services directly.
1. Acceptance
By downloading or using IAmOK, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. The app license is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If there is a conflict regarding the app license, Apple’s agreement controls.
2. Service
IAmOK lets you prepare reusable quick messages with text, a contact, a messaging app, and optional location. They can be used for everyday updates like saying you arrived, you are OK, or you are on your way. Final delivery depends on Messages, WhatsApp, connectivity, the device, the recipient, and other services outside IAmOK.
3. Acceptable use
You must use the app lawfully, respectfully, and only to communicate with people you are entitled to contact. You are responsible for the content, recipients, phone numbers, and locations you choose to share.
You may not use IAmOK for spam, harassment, impersonation, threats, fraud, unlawful communications, or interference with the app or its services.
4. Free version
The free version lets you save one favorite quick message and send that message. We may adjust free features in future versions without removing rights already acquired under applicable law.
5. IAmOK Plus and automatic renewal
- Monthly: €0.99 per month in Spain.
- Yearly: €4.99 per year in Spain.
Actual prices and taxes may vary by App Store country or region. The applicable price appears before you confirm the purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple account when confirmed. The subscription automatically renews for the same period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge the renewal within 24 hours before expiration.
You can manage or cancel the subscription through your Apple account subscription settings. Cancellation preserves access until the paid period ends. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies and applicable law.
IAmOK Plus enables unlimited favorite quick messages and sending messages other than the single free favorite. Subscriptions configured for Family Sharing may be shared subject to Apple’s eligibility and controls.
6. Restoring purchases
The app provides an option to restore purchases. Availability depends on using the Apple account that made the purchase and StoreKit being able to verify an active subscription.
7. Third-party services
Apple, Messages, iCloud, WhatsApp, Google Maps, carriers, and connectivity providers are independent services. Their use is governed by their own terms, availability, and policies. We don’t control or accept responsibility for interruptions or changes to those services.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep IAmOK available and reliable, but don’t promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may fix, update, change, or remove features when necessary for security, compatibility, legal requirements, or product development.
9. Intellectual property
IAmOK, its design, brand, text, and software are protected by applicable laws. You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app under these terms and Apple’s license.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, IAmOK is provided as is and as available. We aren’t responsible for messages that aren’t sent or received, decisions based on delivery, connectivity loss, third-party actions, or use contrary to these terms. Nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights.
11. Law and changes
The law applicable to your residence and mandatory consumer rights applies. We may update these terms; the current version and its date will be published here.
